Describe your childhood self:

Very blond yet tan and usually naked. Shy around new folks, but goofy and creative around familiar folks. Loved the outdoors, especially swimming and camping. Obsessed with dogs.

Describe yourself:

I love solitude and quiet, and find a lot of happiness in nature. I love simplicity. I find inspiration in art (music, photography, painting, movies and books). I still love dogs, and most animals. I’m creative, weird, affectionate and honest.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever heard?

"Take it easy."

 What’s your favorite quote?

Tough to pick one, but my favorite quote today is:

"Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” -Mark Twain

What words of wisdom do you live your life by?

Just go with the flow.

What are you most thankful for in your life?

The ability to follow my life pursuits without too much resistance, good family, good friends.

Is there a smell that reminds you most of your childhood?

Chopped wood, burning wood, cigarettes.

A color that represents your life?

Blue is the color of my eyeballs. Blue is the color of my soul.

What do you do for a living?

I make money working with a small record label and serving coffee at a small cafe on weekends. I sometimes make money with art and I’m hoping in the future to make a living solely on art.

Do you have any dreams?

I have a vague dream of being consistently intrigued by the things around me and to try not to ever feel ‘stale’ or ’stagnant’.

What does freedom mean to you?

The ability to fully be yourself and to follow your intuition. To not feel tied down to a person, place or a thing that you don't want to be tied to.

Where would you like to live if you could choose?

Amongst nature is my only prerequisite. I would live on the southern California coast, or i would live in the mountains of Oregon, or the jungles of Hawaii, or the country side of Sweden. I’d live in a van, or in a tent, or a small house, or a bungalow, a trailer, a mansion or a tree house. Just as long as I had good company, a guitar, and some art supplies (and good food).

Are you happy?

It can be complicated, but yes. I’m mostly content yet somehow always wonderin’ what could be.

Wie warst du als Kind?

Sehr blond, sonnengebräunt und für gewöhnlich nackt. Schüchtern gegenüber fremden Menschen, jedoch albern und kreativ gegenüber mir bekannten Leuten.

Die freie Natur habe ich geliebt, vor allem das Schwimmen und Campen unter freiem Himmel.

Und ich war verrückt nach Hunden.

Beschreibe dich.

Ich liebe die Einsamkeit und Ruhe. Und ich finde viel Lebensglück in der Natur.

Ich liebe Schlichtheit.

Ich finde Inspiration in der Kunst (in Musik, Fotografie, Kunstmalerei, Filmen, oder in Büchern).

Noch immer liebe ich Hunde, und die meisten Tiere.

Ich bin kreativ, sonderbar, herzlich und ehrlich.

Der beste Rat, den du je erhalten hast?

Wofür bist du am meisten dankbar im Leben?

Die Möglichkeit, meine Lebensziele zu verfolgen, ohne dabei auf großen Widerstand zu stoßen.

Für gute Familie und gute Freunde.

Gibt es einen Geruch, der dich besonders an deine Kindheit erinnert?

Gehacktes Holz, brennendes Holz, Zigaretten.

Eine Farbe, die dein Leben repräsentiert?

Blau ist die Farbe meiner Augäpfel. Blau ist die Farbe meiner Seele.

Was machst du beruflich?

Ich arbeite mit einem kleinen Plattenlabel zusammen und serviere Kaffee in einem kleinen Café an Wochenenden. Manchmal verdiene ich Geld mit meiner Kunst.

Ich hoffe, dass ich in Zukunft ausschließlich mit meiner Kunst Geld verdienen werde.

Hast du Träume?

Ich habe einen vagen Traum davon, dass ich konsistent von den Dingen um mich herum fasziniert bin und immer versuche, mich weder `abgestanden` noch `stillstehend` zu fühlen.

Was ist/bedeutet Freiheit für dich?

Die Fähigkeit, ganz du selbst zu sein und deiner Intuition zu folgen.

Sich an keine/n Person, Ort oder Gegenstand gebunden zu fühlen, an die/den man nicht gebunden sein will.

Wo würdest du leben wollen, wenn du es dir aussuchen könntest?

Inmitten der Natur ist meine einzige Voraussetzung.

Ich würde an der südkalifornischen Küste leben, oder in den Bergen von Oregon, oder im Dschungel von Hawaii, oder im bäuerlich-ländlichen Teil von Schweden.

Ich würde in einem Van leben, oder in einem Zelt, in einem kleinen Haus, oder einem Bungalow, einem Wohnwagen, einem Schloss, oder einem Baumhaus. Solange ich gute Gesellschaft, eine Gitarre und etwas Kunstzubehör hätte (und gutes Essen).

Bist du glücklich?

Es kann kompliziert sein, aber ja.

Ich bin größtenteils zufrieden, jedoch frage ich mich irgendwie immer, was sein könnte.
